Description The GF-36 has a long, flat blade designed to come into contact with the cutting board with each slice to create clean cuts of each vegetable. The deep blade will make quick work of heavy vegetables such as potatoes, pumpkin, sweet potato, squashes and beetroot. The front of the blade has a slight upward curve for slicing and dicing vegetables. The GF-36 is best for professional chefs who do a lot of chopping and prep in the kitchen. This knife is for heavy use and is more robust than the non-forged version (G-5). As a fully forged knife, the GF-36 has the same blade as the G-5, but is made from a single (forged) piece of steel from the knife point to the end of the handle, i.e. full tang. It feels heavier than the G-5, which may appeal to those who find Global knives a bit too light. 20cm
